Team Leader Training report
Team Leader Training (TLT) took place in Tokyo and Osaka and over 100 students from Campus Chapters participated.
The participants are those who are going to assume leadership during the Global Village programs this summer. The leaders play a crucial role in coordinating the GV; their responsibilities include negotiation, scheduling and leading the team members.
The future leaders learnt risk management skills through a simulation. The situation given to the students was "what would you do if a GV leader collapses at the building site and the accompanying Habitat staff member was not there?" One of the teams chosen to perform in front of all the students showed cool judgement and received a big round of applause.
The participants seemed full of excitement and determination to grow as a leader. TLT was also a great opportunity for them to rekindle old friendships and make new.
